THE VICINITY
The Puzzle Mansion is located in Brgy Asisan which is around 5kms away from the main road navigating through the lakeside view of Taal.You have no view of Taal Volcano therefore but of pineapple fields.This is an advantage though coz it means it is away from the congested and busy main streets of Tagaytay.What you get is a quiet place where you can relax and at the same time feel the cool Tagaytay weather less the noise.
LAIDBACK FEEL
The place exudes of a farm feel especially because there is a store selling fruits in an open-air setup.Lakas maka farmville-feel which I mean in a good way.THE POOL
What is a pool doing in Tagaytay? Why not!It gives a good accent to the place which is rather simple and quiet.The blue tiles of the pool is coherent to the overall motif of Puzzle Mansion.They do hold events as well so the pool is a big compliment to the venue.
OUR ROOM
The Puzzle Mansion Bed and Breakfast currently has nine (9) rooms.The room where we stayed in is spacious.It is located in the pool area with a mini-garden in front so the feel is different.Freshness every time you open the door.Each room has aromatic oil diffuser so good smell inside is guaranteed.Not that you like it in a place like the Puzzle Mansion which is relatively new with linens,mattress and pillows well kept as if hardly used.Their restroom is wide.Pwedeng magpatentero sa loob.
I find the rooms a bit pricey but that's what you pay for exclusivity.I am sure many people do value that.And?take?note, this is where you can find the largest collection of jigsaw puzzles in the world.Now that's something worth paying for.

SUNFLOWER ROOM CONNECTING ROOM
We peeked into the rooms of the girls.Since they have to occupy two,they were given adjoining rooms which is good for big groups or two families.It has this feeling of being in an extended space.I noticed the linens in their room have a different design from ours.That means the?beddings could be?customized. Blue?for us boys and a little more subtle colors for the girls.This is good but I thought it also takes away a consistent motif that the Puzzle Mansion bed and breakfast could adopt as distinctive signature.

THE FOOD
Like any other bed and breakfast,food of course is a very important component.Our breakfast was really nice.The food tastes of home-cooked meals prepared with love.
MERYENDA
One good thing about the Puzzle Mansion is that they allowed vendors from the outside.These are family or relatives of workers of the place and with them are goods they prepared for commerce.In this setup,the fact that you can order puto bumbong and bibingka is a delight.Lakas maka-Christmas kahit summer!Thanks to puto bumbong,parang Christmas all year long sa Puzzle Mansion.lol
COCO CREAM PIE
One thing you should not miss is the Coconut Cream Pie.This pie is exclusive of the Puzzle Mansion.It's the only place where you can buy one and I would say this heavenly dessert is worth the mention.It's soft, creamy with the right sweetness.Hindi nakakasawa.I like it so much.I would love to see more buko meat in it though.If they can make it such,it would be perfect!
THE PUZZLE MUSEUM
Staying overnight would also mean more time contemplating on the 1,000+ puzzle collection of Gina Gil Lacuna which landed her the title of having the largest puzzle collection in the world.Seeing the puzzles myself made me appreciate the hard work one has to put up just to piece them together.Going through the collection is like going to a fine arts museum as the puzzles are patterned after some of the most famous paintings in history.Yes,visiting the Puzzle Museum is like a lesson on history at the same time.

THE SHOP
There is also a shop?upstairs?where you can buy,of course,puzzles and other stuff like scented candles,?souvenir?shirts and caps among other things.I have always wanted to put a giant map of the world in my room.Unfortunately,the cash I had that time was not enough to purchase the giant world map puzzle.I have to be back here and get the map puzzle! :)
HORSEBACK RIDING
If you want a little activity,they have farm horses which you can rent for only?50 pesos. Horseback?riding anyone?BEFORE GOING BACK TO MANILA
#SKY FUN
Before heading back to Manila, we dropped by the newest attraction in Tagaytay ---SM Land's SKY FUN where there's a Sky Ranch, a couple of rides for kids and adults alike.And of course, despite the long lines that Sunday afternoon,I didn't miss the opportunity to ride the SKY EYE which is the biggest Ferris Wheel in the Philippines.
